Jay was the forth in a family of five born in Houston, Texas. His dad was from Tennesse and met his mom while stations at the Naval Base in Key West, Florida. His mom was a Key West Island girl of Cuban decent. Both of these backgrounds can be seen in Jay's cooking today.
Karen was the second of five children born in Houston. Her dad hails from Quincy, Illinois while her mother was born of German decent in the little town of Weimar, Texas. While you won't find much nothern style foods here, a German influence can be seen throughout some of the dishes we offer.
Heather was born in 1980. About a year ago she was married to Gene.
Trey was born in Pasadena and has been around cooking all his life. Once old enough he started as an assistant chef but has since spent most of his time away at school. When home he spends time making mental notes of Dad's secrets recipes and keeping things organized at home. He will finish up his senior year at George Mason University in Virginia this May.
